User Experience Research & Design

Orange County, CA

Hi, I’m Neil. I’m a User Experience Researcher and Designer based out of Orange County, CA.

Before becoming a UX Designer, I was a Navy pilot. On top of flying, I managed various programs using software and web-based applications to support my organization. These tools often made my workday unnecessarily longer, especially when the day included hours of flying. I always felt I could make these tools more intuitive to use so that I could save time and be more productive.

After finishing my 10-year flight contract, I decided to shift careers and discovered UX was the perfect match for me. I like efficiency and solving problems, and now I have the skills to make mobile apps, websites, and other digital products easier to use.

Technology should make our lives easier not harder. A well-intentioned but poorly designed product can lead to a person experiencing frustration.

Frustration can cost you. It can result in customers being discouraged from buying your products or using your services. It can also distract your workers from doing productive work. That’s time, resources, and money I’d like to help you save!

In my free time, I like to surf, hike, and travel.

Get in touch if you want to collaborate on a project or get to know me better. I'd love to chat with you.
